Pediatric Chiropractic
For many years parents have been taking their infants and children to Chiropractors who are trained in pediatrics. There are a number of reasons why parents seek out the help of a Chiropractor including things like torticollis, plagiocephaly (flat spots), and breastfeeding issues. Chiropractic can help with these issues by ensuring that there is proper alignment and motion of the spinal joints, cranial bones, and jaw. Chiropractic care for infants and children is very gentle, often consisting of light sustained pressure, muscle and ligament work and at-home exercises.
Dr. Peddle has a special interest in pediatric Chiropractic and has received her certification from the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She has worked with babies and children of all ages. She has expanded her training in tethered oral tissues and has worked with lactation consultants and pediatric Dentists to assist infants with tongue, lip, and cheek ties.
